Such a beautiful place it is literally paradise. We went on our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been better. From the service to the food to the drinks all of it was amazingI definitely recommend all inclusive because the cost can really add up if you’re spending out-of-pocket so I’m really happy we went with all inclusive option .Also the romantic pool villas are not as nice as the other overwater villas even though they’re more expensive. The standard overwater villas are in a nicer part of the island and the rooms are much nicer we had the privilege to stay at both but preferred the overwater villas without a pool. Besides, you don’t really need a pool when you’re on the Indian Ocean .

It is too expensive , but really worth value for money

The resort was beyond expectations. We were met by staff as soon as we landed in Male airport and we were looked after for the entire duration of the stay. The villa was stunning, as was the rest of the resort. The bars and restaurants were lovely and the beaches around the island were unbelievable. The gym was well equipped with cardio and strength equipment and there were plenty of classes too. This was our first visit to the Maldives and won't be our last, we would definitely come back to Lux.

A very minor comment - it would have been nice to have had the menu in the restaurants rotate a bit. The meal options were a little repetitive, although the food was delicious.

Room needs refreshment.Weak or no internet signal outside the rooms during all our stay.

Some of the staff were really warm and hospitable. Worth mentioning were Ahmad from housekeeping, Rachel from reception, Nur from Cafe Lux and Niyaz from F&B.The treasure hunt for bottles was really fun.The buffet spread was good except they could have change some of the items.Activities like cinema night was great.Resort has many instagram hot spots for great photos.

Arrangements for daily activities and flight could be made easier and in advance.The staff got the bill terribly wrong the first time, added on 4 items that shouldn’t be there.Check out time and departure flight should be better aligned to avoid guests waiting in the hotel lobby for 4 hours.Free rental of water sports equipment can be extended to 6pm due to hot weather in the afternoon.Room was a little tired looking.No fault of the resort but do not book from booking.com. They offered single pax package which you then need to top up, do be aware.And the resort charges higher rates for the seaplane ticket.

So clean, organised and the food was fresh and delicious!

More frequent island shuttles in the evening.

We love everything from our arrival at Male airport until our departure. This atoll is paradise and the team (Gabrielle, Anfal, all guys diving and water sports, Chef Allan) make our stay amazing. Thank you for your hospitality and support.

Exceptional vacation, all employees very friendly, restaurant and bars very nice and delicious, never get the feeling that the island is crowded, in opposite. Room on the lagoon with swimming pool just exceptional. Sand beaches exceptional and snorkeling offer very good.

Prices for the extra for lunch, dinner, bars on the high side. But It is a luxury location, so no surprise.

Breathtaking. Gorgeous beaches, lagoon and venues. Lots to do to keep you entertained. The staff were also out of this world.

We were looking for an exclusive, all-inclusive experience to celebrate a milestone birthday... Lux South did not disappoint! We booked the Lux Villa, private and away from other guests, and complete with dedicated concierge / butler service which (for us) was over the top, but an amazing bonus. Ahmed M. was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable; he's also an expert-level GoPro free diver, so if you are looking to book the Lux Villa, be sure to arrange diving and snorkeling excursions b/c Ahmed will make sure you have the best time and come home with amazing pics & videos!The options for various cuisines were also more than enough. We tried to sample each of the different restaurants and - although it wasn't included in the AI plan - Allegria (the Italian restaurant) was tremendous... try their signature dishes: Lobster Risotto and the Crab Linguini, you won't regret it.

The only area of improvement would be WiFi availability / strength. We didn't use WiFi for work or really even for internet other than some obligatory social posts, but WiFi was important to communicate via WhatsApp with Ahmed - sometimes the texts were delayed or not delivered due to poor WiFi signal - was easy to reset/rejoin the network and that always fixed the problem, but this would be the only area for us where we would suggest an improvement.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, beautiful facilities and the staff were absolutely wonderful- cheerful, welcoming and friendly. I'd like to also give a particular shout out to the staff at the medical clinic. My husband was taken ill whilst we were there ( totally unrelated to the hotel I must add) and the medical team were amazing, and took great care of him. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the Maldives.

Beautiful and clean. The views were amazing from the water villas. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Food was relatively good especially the breakfast.

Being charge for water even after we paid for half board, I find that so ridiculous.Also, having to pay 60% for the Japanese and Italian restaurant is totally unacceptable given we paid for half board.

All the staffs are super friendly and nice . Restaurants are very nice 。The resorts also provide different classes to attend, lots of fun .

Beautiful resort and facilities! Gorgeous pure white soft sand, clear torquoise waters, lush vegetation. So clean, tidy and immaculate. Great instagram opportunities. Good sized long island with many places where you can be isolated.Abundance of staff who were so helpful, friendly and conscientious. Having your own "assigned staff" contactable via Whatsapp was very helpful. Everything we needed was dealt with through our contact, Jovi.Great variety in eateries although very expensive in USD and 26% taxes. In room food delivery for USD$8++ ended up being the most effective for us. We really enjoyed the live mellow music and 2 for 1 cocktails at the East Bar Happy Hour. Highly recommend the whisky based Yamayaki and fruity Ikebana cocktails.We stayed in a Beach Pavilion for 3 nights (room 312) and Water Villa for 2 nights (room 431). We loved the Water Villa! It was so beautiful and well laid out. It was a dream to lie in bed and watch the sea through the huge glass panes. We were fortunate to not have much seaweed in the water around our villa and had uninterrupted sunset. Beds in both places were so comfortable and even though pillows collapsed, they were surprisingly supportive. It was quiet in both places despite having neighbours.We went on the free snorkeling tour about 10min boat ride away and there was a good amount and variety of fish. We hoped to catch sight of manta rays around the sea plane pier ~7:30pm but no luck on the nights we were there.Staff made my 50th birthday so special - birthday messages and flowers made of palm fronds, discount and upgrade offers, front table on the beach at Allegria for a delicious dinner (Tagliatelle Lobster recommended) with restaurant staff singing "Happy Birthday" and a delectable chocolate cake!!! So spoilt!As we take things slow, 5 nights wasn't enough at this paradise!Aside - faulty booking.com didn't upload Water Villa jpgs

Went here on a 3 night Vacation and the resort was extremely accommodating! Special thanks to Fair for handling everything from the airport to the hotel, they took care of me my wife and my infant and made us feel so welcome! 10 out of 10 would come again
